The book focuses on developing and mastering indedepence on the Drum Set, and can be applied to any style of music. The book also covers warm up exercises, hand-foot coordination, over the barline phrasing, displacement concepts, an advanced chapter for developing fills and solos, and a chapter about New Orleans, Cajun and Zydeco, Brazilian, Afro Cuban, and Caribbean rhythms.
