Ricky offers a series of different types of events.

• Drum Set Clinic: Specifically for drummers and percussionists lasting two hours long. This clinic covers many topics from Ricky's book such as (A) Independence (B) Different styles (C) Hand-Foot coordination (D) Warm up exercises (E) Polyrhythms (F) Double bass drum exercises and technique (G) Tuning techniques (H) And demonstrates playing along with musical tracks.
  
  
• Master Class: This class lasts one to one and a half hours. This class is basically a condensed version of the material covered in Ricky's Drum Set clinic.
  
  
• Drum Set Clinic/Percussion Ensemble Package: Ricky has several compositions which he has arranged for percussion ensemble. With this package, Ricky sends the music to the head of the schools percussion department at least two weeks in advance. He arrives the day before rehearsals start to go over logistics, instrumentation, and rehearsal times. This package also includes a two hour drum set clinic, private lessons for students that are interested, and a concert open to the public on the last day. Generally this package takes four to five days to complete. Ricky has had great success in the past with this package at university music departments around the country.
  
  
• Rhythm Workshop: This one hour workshop is intended for all musicians, not just drummers. The workshop focuses on the importance of rhythm in music, the importance of accents, concepts in rhythmic phrasing, phrasing over the bar line in jazz, different time signatures (including odd time signatures), different rhythmic styles, and gets the students involved with their respective instruments.
