Performance Coordinator/Technical Director, Contemporary Arts Center ~ New Orleans, 04/1999 to 07/2000                                                                                                                                                           

Responsible for booking time, negotiating contracts and scheduling events with performance groups and arts organizations desiring to present in the Contemporary Arts Center, including front-of-house and rehearsals. Provided technical support, primarily in sound, as well as lighting for both theaters, and coordinate load-ins and load-outs.

Responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling of all in-house activities, negotiation of contracts and agreements with groups and organizations interested in using the space, set-up and technical support for the majority of events held in the facility.

Grandstand Coordinator , New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival ~ New Orleans, 01/1997 to 05/2000

Responsible for implementing programming and logistics for the Grandstand area of the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.   Interface with all necessary artists, crafts people and staff for all phases of pre-production and post-production of stages, visual arts exhibits, demonstrations, security, transportation and food concessions, and of every on-site aspect of event-days activities

House Manager, Aaron Davis Hall on CCNY ~ New York , 08/1995 to 12/1996

Responsible for all front-of-house activities, including maintenance and custodial services, security, concessions, checkroom and other audience services.   Determine and update activity schedule, respond to requests for leasing and negotiate contracts.   Develop budgets and track costs for front-of-house operations and facility upgrade, as well as recruited and trained usher and special event staff.

Project Director, Junebug Productions ~ New Orleans, 06/1994 to 12/1994

Served as liaison between local community organizations and artist groups to develop original performance pieces for the Environmental Justice Festival, which was intended to heighten public awareness of environmental issues.
