THE LATEST AND GREATEST~

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great spring season in spite of this terrible economy we're all still struggling with. Fortunately, for many of us living in New Orleans Post Katrina, we've not been hit nearly as hard as other areas of the country & I'll take as many blessings as I can get these days.

The Crescent City Drum School has just finished it's first successful year . I have a total of 15 students starting at age 8 thru age 27, and the school only accepts students that pass a placement/evaluation exam. This keeps the quality of students working there very high. Teaching is a gift I've been given to pass along my knowledge & experience to other, younger drummers, and I intend on keeping this tradition moving forward.

I've been in my new house for one year now. It's hard to fathom that I've already been living in the Musician's Village that long. I'm currently more focused on my IT (Information Technology) job at the present time, and teaching every day. My focus has not been on gigging or recording. These are the choices I've made for the time being, & it's working out very well. But I have grand plans for some musical creations in the not too distant future. Of course, I'll keep you posted.
